About
I believe that healing happens when we feel genuinely seen, understood, and safe enough to explore the parts of ourselves we’ve learned to protect. Because every person comes with a unique story, I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Instead, I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches and tailor our work to what feels most supportive for you.
Much of my work is experiential and body-centered, recognizing that our emotions and life experiences are often carried not only in our thoughts, but also in our bodies. Together, we’ll gently explore what’s happening beneath the surface, helping you connect with your emotions, make sense of your patterns, and move toward greater freedom and self-understanding.
Our first session is an opportunity to begin building a relationship where you can feel seen, safe, and genuinely understood. In addition to learning about what brings you to therapy, I’ll invite you to become curious about how your experiences are showing up in your body, emotions, relationships, and the patterns that have helped you navigate life. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, we’ll begin exploring your relationship with those experiences and the wisdom they may hold.
There is no expectation to share everything at once. We will move at a pace that feels respectful of your nervous system, honoring both your strengths and the parts of you that may have learned to protect you. By the end of our first session, we’ll have a clearer understanding of where you are, what feels most important to you, and how we can work together to support meaningful, lasting change.
Above all, I see therapy as a collaborative relationship. My hope is that our work together helps you feel more connected to yourself, to others, and to the life you want to create. Lasting change doesn’t come from fixing who you are; it comes from discovering the strengths, wisdom, and resilience that have been within you all along.
