I strive to create a space where patients feel safe enough to explore difficult experiences while also feeling challenged and empowered to grow. During the intake session, patients can expect a relaxed and collaborative conversation focused on understanding their concerns, goals, history, and strengths. I gather information about symptoms, relationships, previous treatment experiences, and areas of life that may be contributing to current challenges. Together, we begin identifying goals and developing a treatment plan that feels meaningful and achievable.

Patients often report feeling more confident, self-aware, and equipped with practical tools to navigate life’s challenges. Many describe improved emotional regulation, healthier boundaries, stronger relationships, and greater clarity about their values and goals. Patients frequently share that they appreciated having a space where they felt genuinely heard, understood, and supported.

My background across inpatient, correctional, community mental health, and private practice settings allows me to meet patients with flexibility and perspective across a wide range of experiences.
