About
I have gained extensive experience treating various psychiatric disorders in diverse populations including minority patients, LGBTQ+ individuals, and veterans. I have focused my career in treating treatment-resistant mood disorders with Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), SPRAVATO® (esketamine), and Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT). I’m actively involved in quality oversight, conducting regular reviews and facilitating clinical case conferences that promote collaboration and continuous learning. I’ve always believed that strong clinical outcomes are rooted in strong clinical leadership, so I invest heavily in mentorship, supervision, and team alignment. What drives me is a commitment to delivering exceptional care while scaling systems that work. I’ve developed a keen understanding of how to bridge the gap between clinical goals and operational execution. Whether I’m working with executive leaders on strategic initiatives or mentoring a new psychiatrist through their first year, I bring the same focus: improve access, improve care, and support the people doing the work. Mental health care is evolving, and I’m proud to be part of that transformation. I received my medical degree from The University of Texas Medical School at Houston. While my career began in surgery, I found that my most satisfying moments came from sitting down and talking with my patients about their problems. As my interest shifted to focus on mental health, I then completed my general psychiatry residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. In my free time, I enjoy fitness, traveling, and I’m a self-proclaimed foodie.
