About
My therapy style focuses on building self empowerment and authenticity. I like to open up the space for us to trust, to be curious and learn about ourselves. I am here to meet you were you are and support you to where you want to go. I value involving caregivers in the healing process through parent-child interaction therapy and prioritize understanding your goals to guide our work together. My focus is on helping you build the tools needed to manage symptoms, strengthen relationships, and feel more in control of your life. I strive to provide a warm, inclusive space for all patients and have experience working with diverse populations, including BIPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals. Patients have noticed I am knowledgeable about an array of populations and specialty, especially the areas that are more heavy like bipolar disorder, DV, and parenting. I make sure patient’s remember I am human, I am other identities outside of a therapist. My patients also say they have been able to connect more to themselves and understand more about their behavior and where it comes from. Additionally, they have been able to gain skills to navigate through triggers and distressful events. My personal interests include coming from a Mexican and Black American culture. I love fashion, being bold, and laughinggggggg a lot.
