About

I have many years of experience working in the child welfare system, with a primary focus on familial sexual abuse and familial sex trafficking. My private practice experience is mainly with couples, focusing on infidelity, sex, and communication. I have worked with many patients, both individuals and couples, who identify as LGBTQ+. This work is very important to me, and I have been working with this community since the beginning of my career.

My therapy style is guided by the patient. I use a variety of methods with each patient that allow them to be the professional of their own lives. I tend to be upfront and fairly blunt in my therapy style. I believe that our time together is valuable, both time-wise and money-wise, and that we need to make the most out of it. I do not use a “sugar-coated” approach, most times, when working with my patients.

Patients have said that they have a better understanding of who they are and what it is that they are trying to achieve. They have reported having a better relationship with their own wants, needs, and goals.
