I believe in the power of connection, authenticity, and showing up for others with compassion. At the heart of my therapeutic work is the belief that every person is inherently worthy of love, care, and acceptance. I aim to offer a safe and supportive space where you feel seen, heard, and respected, no matter where you are in your journey.

I tailor my approach to meet each person’s unique needs, offering empathy, curiosity, and nonjudgmental guidance. I deeply value diversity and inclusivity and strive to build genuine, trusting relationships with my patients where healing and growth can take root. I have a high level of transparency and do not operate from a perspective that I know better or more about the patient than the patient does for themselves. My patients would probably say that I offer support and safety that allows them to feel reassured to be their true selves during sessions.

Personal Interests

I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas and have worked in the substance abuse/co-occurring mental health field for the last 10 years. Due to personal experiences, I am extremely passionate about inspiring others to move forward and begin healing, despite their addiction or past trauma. I graduated from Texas Tech with my Bachelors of Psychology with a minor in Addictive Disorders and Recovery Studies, and obtained my Masters of Education in Community Mental Health Counseling and Counseling Education.

When I am not working, I am chasing around my young daughter and spending quality time with my family and girlfriend. I am a huge Brené Brown enthusiast and I love integrating the work she has done in creating shame resilience, within my own life. I love to read, laugh, bury my face in my dog’s fur to snuggle, wrap myself up like a burrito with blankets and re-watch TV series/movies because it eases my anxiety of the unknown, try new foods, and sing at the top of my lungs in my car.
