My therapy style has developed over many years as a Transpersonal Psychotherapist and as an Executive Coach. I’m interactive and listen for strengths to build on for success and contentment with life. I find it helpful to understand the influence of the past and present while anticipating more success in the future.
Past patients have needed help understanding how to be a better partner and how to live a more meaningful life. We’ve found a way to understand and work with issues that arise as personal, social and spiritual growth opportunities. I’ve helped patients with a terminal illness face that transition and prepare for death. I’ve also worked extensively with Vietnam vets struggling with PTSD. As a former Marine, I can relate to veterans.
I help patients gain a deeper insight, clearer understanding of what to do, hope, and an experience of having been understood. Their life has greater meaning now that they understand that problems will occur, but trust that they can learn and grow from them. They have less fear and anxiety about the future.
