About
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your needs. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to shift unhelpful thinking patterns and incorporate elements of Internal Family Systems (IFS) to improve self-understanding and connection with others. I also integrate ACT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and faith-based counseling when helpful. My aim is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space in which my patients feel heard and supported while we work together to identify patterns, build coping skills, and make positive lasting change. I balance practical tools with emotional insight to help my patients move toward their goals at a pace that feels right for them. Patients describe me as warm, supportive, and straightforward. Patients frequently report better understanding their thought patterns, triggers, and emotional responses and notice how past experiences or beliefs influence their current behaviors and relationships. Additionally, patients have said they appreciate my deep empathy with clear boundaries–they feel heard, respected, and understood without judgment. I understand how vulnerable it can feel to start therapy, and I aim to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and empowered. Together, we’ll develop insights and tools that support lasting growth during and after our sessions.
