About
My therapy style involves an ongoing strengths assessment for all patients, meaning we are always looking out for the things you do well. During therapy we attempt to connect the dots between our past to present. Lastly, we learn how to accept our realities with less self-judgement.
During our first session we spend most of the time getting to know one another. This includes getting to know what brought you into therapy, your hobbies and things that are important to you. Do not hesitate to ask any questions you have of me or what to expect during our sessions.
Most patients walk away with a deeper knowledge of self – what they need, dislike, or how their experiences led to who they are today. Additionally, patients recognize their own abilities and strengths as they realize how to realistically achieve their goals.
