About

Are you feeling overwhelmed? Maybe you want a happier life, but don’t know how to get it and keep it. You could be dealing with racial identity, LGBTQIA+ challenges, family boundaries, struggling with relationships, going through a life transition, or feeling burned out and unheard. It doesn’t have to stay this way. I believe everyone deserves dignity, respect, and safe place to communicate their feelings, regardless of religious, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Life can get heavy, but you don’t have to carry it alone. Let’s use what you’ve got to get you where you want to be. I am collaborative and casual; I want therapy to be a comfortable place to discuss current stressors and possible solutions. My style of therapy is goal-oriented and strengths-based. I also work with patients to identify existing support systems and resources to ensure self-sustaining positive change after therapy. Patients can expect to have a conversation to get a deeper understanding of what brought them into therapy, form a treatment plan, and then schedule future sessions if it’s a good therapeutic fit. Patients have reported increased confidence and having clear plans for the future they want. They have gained personal insight into their own patterns of behavior, perspective for external factors, and have tools to manage future issues. Past patients have reported they enjoy my metaphors to better illustrate concepts, various creative thought experiments, and personalized approach.
